10 Ways To Use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly For Your Home

Petroleum Jell as a lip balm. That’s probably the most famous way to use petroleum jelly or as a first aid treatment to burns. That’s what petroleum jelly to us!

Anything skin blister and we’d dab it with petroleum jelly. Soo it was a surprise for me to learn that Vaseline Petroleum Jelly has 101 uses! And as much as I want to list it all here, I picked 10 that every homemaker needs to know.

10 Ways To Use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly For Your Home

Protect Stored Chrome: Before storing your bike away for the winter, or any other chrome item or machinery you’re not planning on using for a while, rub it with petroleum jelly to keep it from rusting over.
Utilize a small touch to put a quick shine on your shoes.
Dab on leather bags to remove dirt.
You can rub Vaseline on the neck of your nail polish bottles, and they will not get stuck to the caps.
Clean Watermarks From Wood.
Keep Ants Away From Pet Bowls: Ring the base of the bowl with petroleum jelly and the ants won’t be able to reach the kibble.
Mask Doorknobs While Painting: Rub petroleum jelly over any metal surface you don’t want to get painted. It will prevent the paint from sticking, so once you are done you’ll only have to wipe the paint off.
Lubricate Cabinets and Windows: Apply petroleum jelly to the window sash channel and cabinet door runners with a small paintbrush and you wont hear them creak ever again.
Keep An Outdoor Lightbulb From Sticking: Next time you change your outdoor lightbulb apply petroleum jelly to the base of the bulb and you’ll won’t have any trouble unscrewing it when the time comes.
Remove Chewing Gum From Wood.

It was my first time to attend a summit like this and also my first time to see Kris Aquino in person (#fanmode). So I am really excited for this event.

As we enter the venue, we were asked to write what we fear the most in a white shirt. Along with the other Ariel 100 Fearless Filipinas we wrote what we fear the most using stains to represent it.

Bianca Gonzalez- Intal hosted the summit. Kris Aquino shared her stories and the things the she fears the most. During the summit, it was Mirriam Quiambao- Roberto that inspires me the most. There’s so much passion with the way she talks. She’s very encouring and she stirs an emotion that gives a better perspective in life. I really wish I was able to capture her talk during the summit.

Other speakers during the event were fearless advocate for peace and development Amina Rasul, fearless advocate for health and environment Anna Kapunan, fearless beauty queen and advocate for children’s education Marilou Chua, fearless journalist Samira Gutoc-Tomawis, fearless enterpreneur Mandy dela Rama, fearless lifestyle columnist Mons Romulo, fearless female pilot Aimee Carandang Gloria, and fearless founder of The Cravings Group Badgie Guerrero-Trinidad. Ms. Emmeline Verzosa, Executive Director of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and Ms. Maria Clara Ignacio, Chief of The Women’s center – TESDA .

The shirts where we wrote our fears were washed in a Samsung automatic washing machine using Ariel. And look at that! 100 stains in one wash. I witnessed how the fears of Ariel 100 Fearless Filipinas were washed using Ariel! It’s about time you become fearless too!
