Age are just numbers, they always say that. But hello! It’s not just numbers no. Wrinkles, dry skin, dry hair comes with age! I am not this skin and hair obsessed woman a few years back but being on your 30’s, you learned about the science behind elasticity and dryness.

So before the much awaited winners reveal.. let me tell you about my birthday celebration first.

Our initial plan was to dine at Taal Vista for lunch. I bought some vouchers (yes I’m cheap like that! wahaha) last year and totally forgot about it. I just discovered that the voucher is already past its redemption period. We still went to Tagaytay and dine at Bag of Beans..which I still question myself why? of all places! Think whatever you think but Bag of Beans is never the same.. the homey feel? asan na iyon? The place is not like it was supposed to be (in my mind). I always think of Bag of Beans a secret garden. ay nag rant? Anyways, the place is still ma- ambiance and perfect for picture taking:

If you have plans of dinning at Bag of Beans, this is the most “secluded” area, near the entrance of the indoor restaurant.

That corner is perfect for “I just woke up”/ “I woke up looking like this” photo ops.

You might be wondering why I never posted a pic with the husband.. aaah he’s not just into pictures (a great dilemma every time the school asks for a family picture!). Since it’s my birthday, he obliged with a few shots! Whatever Dad! Whatevs!

We want to eat at Carlo’s Pizza for their buffalo wings but our tummy’s not cooperating, too much hot choco from Bag of Beans! But as usual, our Tagaytay trip is not complete without Buko Pie from The Original Buko Pie.

The husband asked me to run some bank errands at Megamall after our Tagaytay trip. It’s a Sunday so the only bank opened are the ones at SM. It’s my birthday pero mega utos? Binigyan naman ako ng kaunting pang shopping..

So it was his way of keeping me busy to prepare for their birthday surprise!
