Innocence In Time Book Launching + International Giveaway From Chai

I am very proud to be a part of this event. As you know, the author behind Innocence In Time is a blogger too! Innocence In Time Book Launching was held at SM Center Pasig.

SM Center Pasig has long been home to both global and prestigious homegrown brands. To show its commitment to serving the community, the Leasing Department, led the book launch activity of a homegrown talent and avid SM Pasig customer, Ms. Chai Castro Galapon.

Aside from SM Center Pasig, Philips AVENT also showed their support to Ms Chai by sending raffle prizes and goody bags for all the guests and bloggers.

7 Ways To Give Back To Your Community

Feeling altruistic? There are plenty of things you can do to make the world a better place. Whether you’re satisfying the twinges of your conscience or just padding out your uni applications, here are seven ways you can volunteer today.

1: Talk To Seniors
You don’t need any special skills to give the gift of your company to lonely senior citizens and nursing home residents. Join them for lunch or afternoon tea; help them read and sort through their mail; call out numbers on bingo night.

2: Ladle Soup
Homeless shelters are always in need of able bodies to make sandwiches and pass out plastic forks. This is another activity that requires no specialized talent; as long as you have patience and a kind heart, you’ll be more than welcome at any shelter in your city.

3: Play Fetch
If you aren’t quite ready to interact with humans, consider volunteering at a pound or kennel instead. You’ll probably do a lot of cleaning and pooper-scooping at first, but once the facility begins to trust you, you’ll be allowed to play with the animals in the name of socialization.

4: Tutor Kids After School
Youth development is one of the best ways you can invest in your community. Every child you stop from falling in the cracks is one who could eventually turn into a productive member of society.

Good Housekeeping and 3M “Get Hooked On DIY” Event

Remember the get hooked event invite I posted a few weeks back?

Too bad I missed the program and the workshop..was late for the workshop and had to leave early before Team Kramer appears. Apparently, I missed a lot.. and here are some of those:

Are You In Command booth that showed how to properly install and remove the Command Hook. Buti na lang the lady manning the booth was nice enough to show me how:

In Bathroom Battle booth, attendees had to apply and remove the Command Hook on both wet and dry surface.

A challenge to organize a room based on a photo peg was experience by attendees at the Prep the Dorm booth.

Participants took their best selfie using the Good Housekeeping cover and 3M editorial photo frame at the Hanging the Frames. They were encouraged to upload their photos on social media using the hashtag #3MGHDIY

At the Be a Commando & Do It Yourself booth, attendees did all the tasks assigned to them using 3M products.

Aside from Team Kramer, home improvement expert Coni Tejada also graced the event and share her insight on space management and organization:
