ParenTIN TV Turns 1!

I blogged about it here, the first time I heard it. I knew it will make big, it’s the first of its kind and the concept was really great. Imagine how much convenience it gives to all us moms. We can watch our favorite parenting advice anytime of the day, any day we want. I must congratulate Tintin Bersola- Babo and her team for conceptualizing the first Philippine parenting online show. Tintin really knew how it was to be a busy mommy.

July 3 2010, ParenTin TV turns a year old and to celebrate it, a grand event was held at SM Megamall events center. The event was fun filled. There are more than 3 sets of Little Tikes raffled off to ParenTin TV members who registered online. And it was such a joy that my friend JOY won one of of the products and the best one on the list. To make the gathering more fun, it was hosted by Mike M, the man behind 100 voices and though he did not showcase all his 100 voices, he showed us enough to convince us that indeed he was a man with so many voices.

Oh Joy was also awarded as the most active ParenTin TV member. Aside from all the fun I mentioned, the kids enjoyed most the puppet show courtesy of John Lu. And I did too! Nikki Valdez also graced the event and sing to us some Mommy songs. A young singer also entertained us. All in all the event was super fun. I enjoyed mingling with other moms and some bloggers (Fedhz, Chris, Tetcha and even new mom Lace!) were there too (will blog about that in a separate post).

There were lots of booths, food booths courtesy of Magnolia Pancake, Josiah’s Catering and a game for kids from El Real Pasta. There were also baby products booths, one from Ainon and the other one from Baby Company. Anchor was there too to give a free check up to our kids and this one deserve its own space here. I had so much to thank about Anchor. Galileo was there (an enrichment program). There were also games for us moms and thanks to Miss Agnes of Ainon for inviting me to be one of their participant (so I tag Fedhz along nyahahaha, oh yeah she as there too). We won an umbrella!

ParenTin TV also awarded people who like Suzie Andrada and husband, Maricel and Anthony Panagilinan and people who have a significant contribution on the show’s success. I was not able to take pics of other awardees as I was busy breastfeeding Sati but I believer there was a breastfeeding advocate who was awarded too. I want to meet her badly because I want to be involved in breastfeeding advocacy activities. I have a strong belief with regards to breastfeeding. Our loot bags are full of nice products from EQ Diaper, El Real Pasta, AiNON baby products, a health card from St Luke’s (Tintin mentioned about a St Luke’s event this coming August), stuffs from Cordlife and a magazine.

soo will post about the details of each activities I mentioned.. this will look long and boring if I put it all here.. there are so many stories to tell. Parentin TV made my Saturday more special than usual. Yay! Congratulations Tintin and Parentin TV Staff! See you again next year!

A Date With Fedhz

I am super late in posting this, but I knew my date won’t beat me up on posting.. bwahaha..

Fedhz if you don’t know is one of my kumare, luckily this year, they moved out of commonwealth to their condo, where else, but in Ortigas. And if you don’t know, Ortigas is some minutes away from me. So when we both need to have a break, it’s just an fx away from me and walking distance from her. Supposedly, we were to watch Eclipse, and then we asked Niko if she can come along but she cannot.. so it was decided that we’ll just pig out and chat (as if we never do that on YM).

First stop: Sbarro. Actually, our initial plan is to die eating steak.. but for some reason, the cravings was not there anymore.. and since both love pasta, sbarro it is. Asked what we like and we would both answer baked zitti.. hehe.. but the waitress suggested we tried seafood pasta with salmon toppings. God girls we are that day, we did! and surprisingly, we both liked it. yum, yum, yum..the food serves as our dessert. The main course? Chit Chat!

We walk around the mall to loosen our belts a bit and remembered we didn’t took a photo of ourselves on our first stop..

Next Stop: Dulcinea.. Supposedly Sugar House but we can’t find it. I want sans rival and good thing Dulcinea offers sans rival and cream puff too, at the most affordable price, I tell you.

That’s our first photo.. we love the place… and the crews are all friendly and no one is telling us to stop shooting.. ahaha.. cam whores we are.

Our “diininan mo pa koya” (harder please bwahaha) pose, I’ll leave it to your imagination guys.. and below.. our food.. sans rival and cream puff. Their sans rival is not that good.. but their cream puff is the BEST! (for me) I wish we were brave enough to try their specialty but Fedhz’s baby wipes are just enough for her (that’s another riddle for you or you can go ask her why she always bring with her some baby wipes)

And to seal our date.. here’s another happy photo.. after this.. will miss each other again..

Till our next date and hopefully Niko can come along too.. and the rest of the marce club too.. and next time we’ll try 5 different food establishment.. nyahaha. darn 2 to 5 is SUPER DUPER SHORT!

Make Or Break

Been spending less time on net now and to think I have more things to do now. Imagine 14 domain blogs and 1 subdomain. Thirteen of them needs to have two new articles every week, 1 should have a new article almost everyday (I am talking about this blog) and two, when time permits or when a topic permits. Must be crazy to be me, but actually not. I learned how to manage my time more. Although I must admit, there has been dark circles forming around my eyes and that is for lack of sleep. Yep, I don’t do most of my online gigs on the morning because I devote that time to my kids. So to catch up with my work, I have to stay online until 2 in the morning.

My header is so apt on my current situation but I am not complaining, just thinking about blogging when I am cooking haha.
