NEW Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Line

I am not really into skin care. Sa totoo lang, hindi ako marunong gumamit ng lotion dati. Until Sati was born, I became more conscious about my body, my skin and how I look. There’s someone looking up to me na eh. I started wearing dresses and started taking care of my skin. Another thing, Sati’s legs are really dry, kaya when Physiogel was introduced to us, hoarding talaga! It really is that effective in moisturising the skin. Itataya ko ang blog ko sa Physiogel. Talagang nasubukan ko na ang produktong ito at talaga naman effective. We use the cream and the lotion daily.

Sati really knows her own set of skin care kaya when the Physiogel sent us their new look, nagulat si Sati!

It’s still the same Physiogel babe… with a new look and more committed on enabling women to find the right solutions to free themselves from dry and sensitive skin.

NEW PHYSIOGEL’S FREE IN MY SKIN MOVEMENT

With the launch of the NEW Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line, the #FreeInMySkin Movement was made more exciting with the introduction of the #FreeInMySkin website and Freedom List Challenge. Ang gusto lang naman ng Physiogel eh maging aware tayo sa ating mga sariliand look past our skin insecurities in order to discover our full potential and fulfil our dreams.

SCIENCE-BASED SOLUTION

The new Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line continues to be a differentiated science-led solution featuring the unique Physiogel BioMimic Technology® that works to soothe and repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Highly recommended sya by yours truly kase nga effective nila. Highly recommended din ng Dermatologists ang Physiogel because it is non-comedogenic, and is free from soap, preservatives, perfumes and colourants. Sa totoo lang, Physiogel is the #1 Most-Prescribed Brand by Dermatologists in the Philippines! And Physiogel is made more accessible sa mga Pinays sa buong Pilipinas because it is available Mercury Drug Stores and other leading pharmacies and supermarkets nationwide.

Moleskin X Starbucks 2016 Planner

Nalulungkot ako ngayon… I can’t drink coffee because of my pregnancy eh. Balak ko pa naman sana na gawing yearly tradition ang Starbucks Planner Giveaway na nasimulan ko last year.. Sad ako kase I can’t keep up to that promise. Though husband is an SB consumer, he doesn’t like sweet drinks. Last year, naka 6 planners ako.. this year, I know the Mister will make a way to get a planner for me.. un lang, wala akong mapapamigay 🙁

Ang ganda ganda gandaaaaa pa naman ng Starbucks 2016 Planner. It’s a collaboration with Moleskin. And you know Moleskin planners are not that cheap! First look from Starbucks Philippines Facebook page:

Starbucks x Moleskin 2016 Planner comes in 2 sizes and 4 colors (red, black, white and green). What’s the difference? According to Didi of the canDIshhh tales:

if you’re the type to write down your daily tasks and need more space for your daily reminders – get the smaller one.  It has an individual page for every day (except of Saturday and Sunday).  But if you’re the weekly planner – then you get the bigger one.

Just as always, you need 18 stickers on your Starbucks Christmas Card to avail the planner. Starbucks sticker collection will start this November 2 na!

And if you want to get the big planner and the small planner, you need to fill 2 sticker cards 🙂

You know the drill! 9 stickers for the usual Starbucks beverage and 9 stickers for Starbucks Christmas drinks. Soooo what drinks Starbucks will be offering this Christmas?

Toffee Nut Latte is still on the Christmas drinks menu as well as Peppermint Mocha.. what’s new is Christmas Panettone Latte, a drink inspired by an Italian fruit cake. I love fruit cakes!!!! 9 cups naman won’t hurt my pregnancy di ba? Basta decaf! hahaha

I’ll be getting the red one if ever!

Join Knorr Lutong Nanay Food Fair And Help Battle Malnutrition

Do you know that at least 5 million children are malnourished here in our country? That data comes from Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the DOST. Ang taas no? Malnutrition is really an issue here in our country.

Knorr, being known in empowering Filipinos to cook flavorful, nutritious and affordable meals everyday, took action and started its “Lutong Nanay” Nutrition Program in various barangays and communities nationwide. In the fight against malnutrition, Knorr promotes the importance of healthy meals prepared by moms for their kids.

Knorr partnered with Kabisig Kalahi for the Metro Manila leg of this program. Akala nyo namigay lang sila ng food? The program is more than that.. sabi nga  ng famous quote, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” at ganyan ang ginawa ng Knorr, with simple, easy to follow, healthy meals, moms learned how to provide their kids with delicious and nutritious dishes.

Here are some of the activities that Knorr Lutong Nanay program has been doing:

Knorr recently visited two barangays in Smokey Mountain, Barangay 101 and Barangay 128, with its ambassadors. Dimples Romana, Danica Sotto-Pingris and Sari Jorge joined forces to help educate moms and children the importance of a healthy diet for the family. Over a meal of afritada, they also shared their personal experiences, cooking secrets and how they entice their kids to eat a healthy, balanced meal with the help of Knorr.

“It was a beautiful experience na makasama ang katulad kong Knorr Lutong Nanay moms together with our children in sending out a message to all the other Filipino moms like us to join in our fight against malnutrition,” said Dimples Romana.

Meanwhile, ambassadors Carmina Villaroel and Chesca Kramer joined Knorr at the Cardinal Sin Village. Mothers and children collectively learned the importance of a vigorous diet for the family. The program was a good exchange of insights, experience and learnings not only from the ambassador, but from resident mothers as well.

“Feeding our families nutritious food doesn’t have to be expensive. What’s important is that we give them a well-balanced meal every day,” says Carmina Villaroel.

As the theme of sharing experiences and learnings continued, one mother shared, “Ngayon, kaya ko nang magluto ng pagkain na hindi lang masarap, masustansya pa.” Another participant shared how she realized the importance of preparing healthier meals for her family by incorporating vegetables in their meal plan unlike before, where they usually prepare meals with minimal consideration to nutritional value.

Tayong mga nanay, bilang kadalasang tiga handa ng pagkain, can really help in the fight against malnutrition in Filipino children by serving healthy meals to our family. Here’s my share of Knorr Lutong Nanay meal:

Sinigang na baboy where I used two Knorr Sinigang Mix variants: with Gabi and with sili… try nyo yan mga inay, mas magiging masarap ang sinigang ninyo.

It’s a long way to go but Knorr’s ongoing program is a big step towards fighting malnutrition in Filipino children.

To take an active role in alleviating malnutrition, join Knorr and its partners for the first Lutong Nanay Nutrition Program Food Fair:
