Kiddie Bike Philippines: Where To Buy

When you have 4 kids asking for a bike, you need to look where to Buy Kiddie Bike Philippines. And when it comes to bike and  bike accessories, the only place that comes into my mind is Quiapo. We don’t buy kiddie bikes at Toy Kingdom or Toys R Us. Helloo expensive price tag!

Kiddie Bike in the Philippines, Where to buy

This is the second time that we are buying kiddie bike in Quiapo (MUST READ: 7 Reasons Why I Hate Going To Quiapo). The first one was a few years ago. All the bikes we bought then was still in good condition but it was too small for my boys na. The boys are asking for bigger bikes na and Sati wants a real bike unlike the one she had a few years ago. As usual, she’s asking for a pink kiddie bike!

Where to Buy Kiddie Bike Philippines? Cycle Art Marketing is our suki when it comes kiddie bike to and judging from the number  of clients during our trip there, talagang OK mamili sa Cycle Art Marketing. They have all kinds of bike. May bike for toddlers, kiddie bikes, may bike for big kids, mountain bikes, BMX, racing bikes, lahat meron sila.

They have motorized bikes and cars too!

Cycle Art Marketing staff are really courteous.. they are busy but they see to it that all your demands are met. You just have to be more patient when waiting as your orders can take a while, specially if it needs to be assembled.

Cycle Art Marketing is located along Quezon Blvd in Quiapo. Malapit sya sa overpass na papuntang Mamon Luk. If you’re going there and you have your own vehicle, there’s a parking lot near Cycle Art. It’s along Quezon Blvd din, coming from Manila area, pwede kayo lumabas ng Hidalgo then diretso lang kayo papuntang Cycle Art. A few meters before Cycle Art (landmark is the overpass), you’ll a big PARKING sign.

Here are the bikes that we bought:

Size 16 Kiddie bike for Chico. It used to have training wheels but we have them removed it and replaced it with a stand. This bike is 2500 Pesos.

MTB 20″ Phantom Hybrid Alloy for my two older boys. This is a bit pricey because it’s hybrid alloy (less kalawang daw eh). Each bike costs 4800 after discount. Some online stores sell this for 7k! Waaaaah sulit na pala ang pagkakabili namin!

Another feature of the bike.. it has gears! OK please don’t ask me what it means..the husband already explained but I can’t remember..

We bought their kiddie bikes last November so I don’t know if the staff who assisted us still works there.. just in case, look for ate Jocelyn.

I am sure your kids will be asking for bikes dahil malapit na mag summer.. I tell you, sulit to buy bikes at Cycle Art 🙂 Highly recommended!

Hot Wheels Don’t Just Make It Awesome, Make it Epic!

They used to say they’re too old for Hot Wheels. I AM NOT TOO OLD FOR HOT WHEELS NO! Ok that escalated so quickly! I love Hot Wheels myself, I used to play with HW when I was a kid! And if I can have a toy room, it would be filled with die cast cars, train tracks, a Barbie House and Mega Bloks!

Buuut my kids think it is not for them anymore! Well not until last Christmas. Days before their Christmas Party, students were asked to write their wish list. And my kids, knowing the amount won’t really get their “real” wish, opted for a more practical and more affordable gifts. My oldest asked for school supplies (BRAVO! BRAVO!) and my two younger boys asked for HW cars. Yay! Finally the realized how good these brand of cars are and how cheap it is. Hot Wheels die cast are the cheapest and yet most durable gift to give for boys!

Their love for Hot Wheels has been renewed!

Hot Wheels Track

Hot Wheels Track

And still last Christmas, they bought a HW track set from their pamasko! The set was kinda expensive but the two younger boys chipped in. I never really liked battery operated track set but they look soooo happy with their purchase! And I might give in when they ask for more race tracks and more cars!

Did you know that Hot Wheels has been creating thrilling vehicle experience for more than 40 years now? The brand continues to evolve into a a global lifestyle brand for boys of all ages (and moms too! haha) and has now become the leading toy vehicle property in the market.

This year, Hot Wheels is up for another challenge: Don’t Just Make It Awesome, Make it Epic!

Hot Wheels

It’s the brand’s new campaign that aims to empower boys with exhilaration and achievement. With all the new and exciting products lined up for 2016, from the extensive car collections, to the coolest track sets available, boys will be inspired to play bigger, faster, higher, cooler, louder, anywhere, any way.

Hot Wheels Track Builder

Hot Wheels dares you to start an epic collection… create epic tracks… build an epic race… This not just a toy. This is the ride of your life. This is Hot Wheels.

HAlso love HW? What do you collect? Cars or Tracks? Share it with me! How many cars your kids have right now?!?

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 Shopping Experience

My excitement over the Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 has been very very obvious on all my social media accounts. I have been looking forward to this fair ever since I’ve learned about it. I can’t wait to shop for my baby boy! As I have mentioned before, this is my first time attending this event as an expectant mom shopper.

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016

Here are the few things on my shopping list right now (praying I won’t go over the budget teeheee):

  • Wooden Crib (white or brown) > got a dark brown for 5200 PhP
  • Bedding Set for the wooden crib > set with bumpers for 2000 PhP
  • Bed sheet for bedside crib > included in the bedding set
  • mittens and booties (white, 6 pairs each) > NONE
  • white long sleeves tie side > got 6 from Ainon/ Smart Baby
  • rubber sheet > NONE
  • baby towel/ receiving blanket x2> NONE
  • bath essentials (basin) > got one from Safety 1st at 2000 PhP
  • Mustela for my stretchmarks> NONE
  • Nursing Bra> NONE (too pricey!)
  • Ring Sling> NONE (few design from Next9)

I felt like Bianca Gonazalez- Intal last Friday. After the media launch of the New Ariel Power Gel, she was there at the Baby Company Grand Baby Sale too!

Bianca Gonzalez Intal Baby Company

Bianca Gonzalez- Intal shared the 10 things she learned about pregnancy such as skin care and why raw food is not a preggy mom’s food. Expectant moms cannot consume some of the medicines that is intended to treat gastro related complication.. it is not safe for the baby. So as much as possible, stay away from raw food to lower the risk of gastro related complications.

Now, to my shopping adventure!

shopping for baby Marius and covering for Mommy Bloggers Philippines

Can I just say that this is the most hassle, stressful shopping experience I had in my life?!? I have been covering this baby fair for years and I usually go there during the preview (Thursday) and it was my first time to shop (and at the same time cover for Mommy Blogger Philippines). It was jam-packed! So many preggy moms! So many shoppers! The Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 feels like a Hunger Games edition! haha

But it was worth it! And good thing I had my helper with me so I didn’t even have to fall in line. Another plus point is Wilkins are everywhere for thirsty shoppers and the restroom is near! I wish there more chairs though, specially at the cashier area so that pregnant shoppers can rest from time to time. Speaking of cashier, there’s a lot! The line is loong but moves quickly! The line can be bothersome to some shoppers though.

Here are some of the things I bought:

I got this crib for 5200 PhP from 8500 PhP! And the bedding for the crib is at 20% off. The set includes 2 bolster, 1 pillow, 1 comforter and bumpers for 2000 PhP.

One of the highlights of my Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 shopping experience is meeting Maricel of The Parenting Emporium:

The Parenting Emporium is a retail social enterprise that has only one aim: to help make the parenting journey easier for you. For all your parenting journey needs, you can contact TPE at (02) 7253723 / 7386272 / 0917-5614366 or check out their FB Page (The Parenting Emporium Facebook Page). I got my Blanqi Maternity Underbust Support Tank Top from TPE. It’s a must buy when you’re pregnant. The Blanqi is really serious when it comes to support. I wouldn’t be able to shop, stand, walk that long if not for the Blanqi I was wearing last Friday.

One of my fave baby brand is also there:

Ainon carries Smart Babies, one of the most affordable baby clothing brand.

And speaking of clothes, look what I got for baby:

This is not on the list buuuut it was on sale! 3 for 299 PhP only! How can I resist?!

Compared to the last fairs I attended, there were lesser baby clothes brand this year.. more diaper brands, and a lot infant gears brand (stroller, car seat, crib, so many brands to choose from!) Sadly, Pampers did not participate  in this year fair.

This bath center from Safety 1st is the blockbuster of all bath basin for babies! I got this for 2000 PhP (regular price is around 2500 if I am not mistaken). I was looking for a small basin for bathing and this one fits perfectly with my size requirement!

See, it was really worth it!
