This also include a list of top mommy blog in the Philippines.

In addition, here is the 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO BE A MOMMY BLOGGER:

1. Create a blog name that will represent you as a mommy blog. Sometimes it's good to include the noun mommy or mother or nanay.

2. Create an email the same as your blog name for branding purpose, in other words, for identification. After that, you can proceed to step 3 which is actually one of the most challenging part.

3. Open a blog. It has been debated for so many times which is the best blogging platform to use. For starters, I usually recommend blogspot because it is free. On the other han, if you are ready to shell out money, wordpress org is the best.

4. Design your blog. This sound like an easy task to do, it is actually, however, it can be very time consuming. The number of free templates for a blog is endless. To help you decide, set your blog tone and color. Will it be a dark themed blog? Light? What will be the primary colors? And from there, searching will be easier.

5. Lastly and most importantly, Start writing. The best way to start this is to introduce yourself. Likewise, you can also create a list of why you started a mommy blog. Or you can mention top 10 things that you would want your future readers to know about you.

New York City, USA (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, I Feel Pretty, Marvel, Molly’s Game)

A screenplay favorite, New York City is home to many Marvel superheroes at the Flat Iron Building, grand romantic gestures at the top of the Empire State Building and plot turning points at Grand Central Station. This month on ice, you can arrive in 1920s Ellis Island with Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and continue the action-packed sequel in Paris with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Los Angeles, USA (La La Land)

“City of Stars, are you shining just for me?” Hollywood comes alive for Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the award-winning musical, La La Land about an aspiring pianist and struggling actress who fall in love. Tap dance under the stars in Griffith Observatory and catch a behind-the-scenes tour of Hollywood at Universal Studios or Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Jaipur and Udaipur, India (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel)

Known as “The Pink City” for its rose-colored architecture, Jaipur and its fellow Rajput “City of Lakes” Udaipur, are as whimsical, historical, and lovable as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and its sequel. The hotel scenes were filmed at the Ravla Khempur, a heritage Marwari equestrian palace you can visit northeast of Udaipur, while the five-star bar where Madge pretends to be royalty is actually the Hotel Narain Niwas Palace in Jaipur. The hotel guests later journey to the famous Taj Lake Palace Hotel (also seen in a 1983 James Bond movie) notable for its exquisite high tea service. Other beautiful places to visit for the history and architecture fans, are the Hawa Mahal, Amber Palace and City Palace.

Athens, Greece (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again)

Though Mamma Mia is set in a fictitious Greek island, you can visit Athens and sing-along to the soundtrack! This capital city offers breathtaking ancient civilization sites like the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the Temple of Zeus, in addition to family-owned restaurants in Plaka, much like the hotel and restaurant Sophie plans to launch in honor of Donna.

Bali, Indonesia (Eat Pray Love)

After a difficult divorce, Julia Roberts’ character journeys to Italy, India, and Indonesia to eat, pray, and find love. You can endeavor to find the same inner balance with her at the traditional Ubud Traditional Art Market, Gunung Kawi temple, and Ubud Palace in Bali. A backpacker’s delight, you can also journey to the tiny island of Gili Meno, where the original novel concludes, for beautiful beaches, barbequed seafood, and snorkeling.

Building The Future of our Nation by Planting Trees

What does it take to build a nation? There are many possible ways, and one of them is helping the environment become sustainable and healthier in the future by planting more trees. If every Filipino plants one tree a year, we can be shielded from calamities while having more than enough supply to meet the demands of our forest industry.

Planting trees act as life support for ecosystems. Forests are known as the lungs of our planet. These absorb more carbon dioxide and other potentially harmful gasses, including sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide, from the air and release oxygen. Aside from this, it also provides habitat and food for animals ensuring the diversity of flora and fauna on our planet.

Trees serve as shields against calamities. Planting more trees, especially in the rural and upland areas of the country, helps minimize the impact of natural disasters, reduce landslides, keeps the ground fertile, and slows down mudflows. These trees can also absorb rain on the mountain slopes, preventing casualties during dangerous typhoons.

We can increase biodiversity by planting one tree at a time. Making the Philippines greener is a collective effort that needs to be undertaken by both the government and by the citizens. In 2016, according to then Forest Management Bureau (FMB) Director and now Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Assistant Secretary Ricardo Calderon, having a sense of group and individual volunteerism with the support of the private sector can contribute to the success of the Bureau’s ongoing reforestation program. Moreover, pushing for bills such as the Sustainable Forest Management Act and joining causes that advocate tree planting can secure natural sustainability for all life forms.

Production of responsibly sourced wood contributes to the country’s economic growth. Aside from making a more sustainable Philippines, trees can also help propel our economy forward. From the development of plantations to the harvest of mature trees, the entire process requires manpower, which will then create jobs and provide more stable and dependable income sources. It will also produce raw materials needed for furniture and building infrastructures that will last, therefore making way for business opportunities locally and internationally.

One of the organizations pushing for sustainable forest management is the Philippine Wood Producers Association (PWPA). They believe that by ensuring that there is a balance between the needs of the people and the viability of the forests, a more prosperous and sustainable future for the entire country can be achieved. They continuously promote wood, which when harnessed sustainably, can be an important driver for growth and development for many communities, and by extension for the entire economy as well.

“Trees really play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our country.” PWPA Chairman Charlie H. Liu said. “We believe that by taking care of trees and our forest we can ensure that countless generations of Filipinos can still enjoy the blessings of mother nature. We also know that if we take care of our forests, it can help countless Filipinos who depend on the forestry sector and in wood production as their primary source of livelihood.”
