This year, we’re celebrating 23 years of marriage, and what better way to mark the occasion than with good food and simple moments of gratitude.

For our celebration, we chose to enjoy some delicious treats from Goldilocks, a brand that has long been part of many Filipino celebrations. From birthdays to family gatherings, Goldilocks has always been a familiar and comforting presence on the table.

Since we’re both coffee lovers, we picked Tiramisu as our anniversary cake. Its rich coffee flavor and creamy layers made it the perfect dessert to celebrate another year together.

Of course, no celebration is complete without savory favorites. Our table was filled with some of the Goldilocks best sellers: Lumpiang Sariwa, Pork BBQ, Pancit Malabon, Lumpiang Shanghai.

We had two all-in-one food trays that included a delicious combination of Pancit Malabon, Chunky Pork BBQ, and Lumpiang Shanghai. The Pancit Malabon featured thick noodles coated in its signature rich, savory sauce, while the Chunky Pork BBQ added a smoky, sweet, and savory flavor that perfectly complemented the meal. The Lumpiang Shanghai, crispy and golden on the outside with a flavorful pork filling inside, was of course a crowd favorite.

To complete the spread, we alsohad a separate tray of Lumpiang Sariwa. This fresh spring roll is filled with a savory mix of vegetables and wrapped in a soft crepe-like wrapper, topped with its signature sweet sauce and crushed peanuts. Each dish added something special to our meal, making the celebration simple yet satisfying.

More than the food, what made the day meaningful was the reminder of how far we’ve come together. Twenty-three years of marriage is built on love, patience, laughter, and partnership.

And sometimes, pinakamasaya talaga na celebrations are the simple one. Yung buo at magkakasama kayo, sharing a good meal, reminiscing about memories, and looking forward to the many years still ahead. Here’s to 23 years of love… and many more to come.
