Graduation Practice

And before I go to Kayil’s graduation rehearsal, let me just post a bit about my anxieties. Last night and until today, hubby and I were debating on who will accompany our boy during the awarding ceremony. He got a medal and as so you know a parent or a guardian should put the medal to the kid. I can’t do that. For sure, my heart will beat as fast as velo-electrique (that’s electric bicycle for you) and I will have a hard time breathing. I am super excited, really. This is my first time ever. As a child I never experienced that as I was never recognized (LOL)

I know all of you want to congratulate him and some may even want to send some gifts for him. Anybody want our domiciliation (address)? I am really proud of my boy but not overly proud that I would plaster my blog with his medal. I am not that kind of person, I am actually shy. Most of the time I would rather sit on fauteuil louis 16 than socialize For sure later, I would just on the chair while watching them practice their graduation march, song and anything about their graduation. Oh, graduation will be tomorrow at 2PM, so yeah, I will be offline then.

Excited

Mommy is super excited! Earlier it was announced who are the honors on my kid’s school. As you know my first born is about to graduate in pre school and yes he was included in the list! Yay! Mommy is happy, he ranked 5th in his class, just like his daddy (like father like son). We still don;t know if they have to wear tuxedo vest during their graduation ceremony. I will ask the teacher on Monday. Next week, they will be practicing for the graduation and the graduation (and recognition) will be on March 27, Saturday.

Oh, my baby boy is no longer a baby! A few more months and he will be on grade one and a few more, he will be on high school. Add some more years and I will be standing next to him for his wedding.. haays.

Graduation Jitters

Graduation Day is on March 27. My first born son will be graduating from preparatory school. He will be on Grade this coming school year! Yay! I am having some jitters haha. Tomorrow there will be a deliberation regarding honor rolls. Whatever it is, I don’t want to come. LOL Although no one will believe it but I’m a cry baby when it comes to my kids. I cry when I feel proud of them. Last Saturday was their field demo and seeing them dance in the middle of the crowd was heartwarming that I choked while trying to steal a shot. I almost cried! Dammit! I am like this whenever they perform on stage..waaaah.. so what more come graduation day or even the deliberation day. Just thinking about it now, I am about to burst. darn.

I talked to my hubby and told him I will not attend my son’s graduation. Erase that. I told him I will attend the graduation but he should not laugh when I started to cry. darn (every time i say that word it means I am sniffing here). I cannot bear to see my first born graduating from pre school. Can someone volunteer to be out photographer that day?
