Noche Buena Dessert Ideas: Coffee Based Desserts

Who doesn’t love coffee? Perhaps, for most people coffee is part of adulting. It is very aromatic and refreshing especially when brewed. Some people like it cold, a lot like it hot.  As the times go by, coffee became part of the menu. It’s no longer considered as just a drink but also used as main dessert ingredients. If you love coffee like I do, sharing with you some Noche Buena Dessert Ideas: Coffee Based Desserts that I have been thinking to add on our Noche Buena menu this December 24.

Noche Buena Dessert Ideas: Coffee Based Desserts

Tiramisu

Its taste is chocolatey with a hint of coffee. So this is perfect for the kids and adults. It originates from Italy, where coffee is trendy. You need the following ingredients to make this dessert:

  • Ladyfingers
  • Coffee
  • Cocoa powder
  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Mascarpone or cream cheese
Coffee Jelly

If you want it creamy, coffee jelly is what you need. It is saucy and creamy with tidbits of jellies. You can make your jelly or buy the ready-made coffee-flavored gelatin. If you are going to make your jelly, just follow the instruction on your Gulaman powder mix and then flavored it with coffee. These are the ingredients you need:

  • Coffee-favored Jelly
  • All-purpose cream
  • Condensed milk
  • Evaporated milk

Cappucino Ice Cream

You can buy ready-made ice cream but to make it is quite fun and memorable for the kids. You need an electric mixer or an electric whisker. If you do it manually, it will take much time, and you might not get the cream you desired. All you need are:

  • All-purpose cream
  • Condensed milk
  • Instant coffee powder
  • Chocolate chips

Coffee Cheesecake

Cheesecakes are very popular, but it can also include on your coffee-based Noche Buena desserts. Gather these ingredients, and you are good to go:

  • Ready-made Grahams pie crust or you can make your own (crushed Grahams, butter, brown sugar, a pinch of salt)
  • Cream cheese
  • All-purpose cream
  • Coffee
  • Crushed Grahams
  • Chocolate chips

No Bake Mocha Cake

If you want something cakey, try this one. It is effortless to make; you need to make layers of crushed cake bars and milk mixture then top it with gelatin. All you need to make this are:

  • Chocolate or mocha-flavored cupcakes or cake bars (crushed)
  • Mixture of all-purpose cream and condensed milk
  • Gelatin mixture for the top

Coffee Ice Cream Pie

If you love pie, you will be going to like this one. It is like a refrigerated cake, Mix all the ingredients or have it your way then put everything on the crust. Check these:

  • Ready-made crust
  • Vanilla Ice cream
  • Coffee
  • Nuts
  • Cream Cheese
  • Chocolate chips
  • Chocolate syrup

Coffee Truffles

You can quickly make this one, crushed mocha cupcakes and mix all purpose cream an then form it into balls. After this, use a toothpick or a hard straw and dip the chocolate ball into the melted chocolate. You just need these three ingredients:

  • Mocha cupcake
  • All-purpose cream
  • Chocolate, melted (you can also try white chocolate)

These coffee-based Noche Buena Desserts are very easy to make. You can make these desserts even if you have insufficient time. Even the kids can make these desserts without a sweat. Your family members will undoubtedly love each dessert even if they are not caffeine lovers. Make your Holiday season more meaningful by helping each other and make fun while preparing for Noche Buena.

Coffee Jelly Day

Remember the coffee jelly from Jollibee? I don’t know why Jollibee stopped serving it, but I do know that I was so addicted to it then..

So while my sissies are here.. we made our own version of it. And oh! It’s almost the same as the one served in Jollibee!

The kids enjoying their “coffee jelly” (actually those are milk jellies haha).. and me and my other sister..(papatalo ba kame? LOL)

So it is understood that we’re going to be like this until this sissy of mine went home.
