Ngiting Tagumpay Oral Health Campaign

TAGUIG CITY, Philippines. March 13, 2026 — The Philippine Dental Association (PDA), Philippine Association of Registered Dental Technologists (PARDTI), and leading oral health care brands Sensodyne and Polident have launched “Ngiting Tagumpay,” a nationwide oral health advocacy that aims to empower Filipinos to better understand and address common dental issues such as tooth sensitivity and tooth loss.

‘NGITING TAGUMPAY’ OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED. Haleon, together with dental partners PDA and
PARDTI, alongside key trade partners, introduces Ngiting Tagumpay, a nationwide initiative that aims
to help more Filipinos care for their oral health through education, community outreach, and access
to proper dental care. (L-R) Content creator and host Macoy Dubs, PARDTI President Gil Campana, Southstar Drug

Cueva, Haleon Philippines General Manager Maimai Madrid-Punzalan, Mercury Drug Corporation
Vice President of Merchandising Cora Lim, Watsons Senior Manager for Sustainability Lexy Cloma,
PDA President Dr. Lucilo Niñal Jr., and celebrity host Tuesday Vargas.

Launched ahead of World Oral Health Day at Market! Market!, Ngiting Tagumpay will travel to major cities across the country to offer free dental consultations, oral health education, and essential procedures. The program will also provide 1,500 free dentures to beneficiaries—helping restore confidence and quality of life.

The initiative is in response to major oral health concerns in the country—research from Sensodyne finds that 6 out of 10 Filipinos experience tooth sensitivity, which can lead to discomfort when eating hot, cold, or sweet foods. Meanwhile, studies from Polident report that only about 11 percent of Filipinos who need dentures actually wear them, highlighting a gap between oral health needs and treatment.

Through expanded education campaigns, community outreach, and access to dental care, Ngiting Tagumpay seeks to empower Filipinos to take more proactive steps to protect their oral health.

Bridging the incidence and treatment gap

Dental professionals say that awareness and early care are critical to addressing these issues.

“Many Filipinos tend to delay seeking dental care until symptoms become more difficult to manage,” said Dr. Lucilo Niñal Jr., President of the Philippine Dental Association.

“Conditions like tooth sensitivity or tooth loss are common, but they can often be addressed effectively when people are informed and receive timely care.”

He added that public education remains an important part of improving oral health outcomes.

“World Oral Health Day reminds us that prevention and early treatment play a crucial role in maintaining overall health. Through programs like Ngiting Tagumpay, we can reach more communities with reliable information while connecting them to proper dental care. Our continued collaboration with Haleon also reflects the value of working with partners who prioritize science-based solutions and responsible health advocacy.”

The platform builds on four years of strong collaboration between the PDA, PARDTI, and Haleon, maker of Sensodyne and Polident, where purposeful dental efforts such as caravans have reached thousands of Filipinos with free consultations and education on tooth sensitivity.

Their “Oplan Balik Ngiti” program likewise provided denture assistance to 5,600 individuals, directly improving their comfort, confidence, and oral health outcomes.

Commitment to everyday health

For Haleon, the launch of Ngiting Tagumpay reinforces an unwavering commitment to improving everyday health for Filipinos through trusted brands and partnerships.

“We at Haleon are proud to support World Oral Health Day because we believe every Filipino deserves access to quality dental and denture care,” shared Maimai Punzalan, General Manager of Haleon Philippines. “A healthy smile makes a real difference in people’s lives, from finding success in their livelihoods to sharing moments with loved ones.”

“We’re proud to work alongside the Philippine Dental Association and PARDTI to bring this advocacy to life. Through Sensodyne and Polident, we hope to help even more Filipinos achieve their true Ngiting Tagumpay.”

The launch event also drew support from community advocates and digital creators, who helped amplify the initiative’s message. Among those present were content creators Macoy Dubs and The Aguinaldos, who attended to encourage Filipinos to pay closer attention to their oral health and adopt simple habits that support healthier smiles.

Support for Sensodyne and Polident helps strengthen ongoing efforts to expand oral health education and denture-giving initiatives across the country. Learn more about the advocacy through Haleon’s ecommerce page: https://shopee.ph/haleonph.

Gummy Vitamins for School Kids: A Parent’s Quick Guide

That’s why maraming moms ang nagta-try ng gummy vitamins for school kids. Aside from being easy to take, mas appealing din sila sa bata because of the chewy texture and yummy taste. For many families, gummy vitamins can make daily routines feel a little lighter and a lot more manageable.

Gummy Vitamins for School Kids

Why Gummy Vitamins for School Kids Work?

For school-age kids, routine matters. Kapag madaling isingit sa everyday schedule ang vitamins, mas malaki ang chance na maging consistent ito.

Here’s why gummies work well for school kids:

Mas enjoyable for kids.

Compared to tablets or syrups, gummies feel more fun and less intimidating. Mas madali silang tanggapin ng mga bata, especially picky ones.

Mas madaling isama sa daily routine.

Whether before school or after breakfast, mas simple silang ibigay at hindi nakaka-abala sa morning rush.

Less resistance from kids.

Kapag gusto ng bata ang taste, less chances of complaining or refusing to take their vitamins.

Helpful for busy parents.

Anything that makes the routine smoother is a win, especially during school mornings when everything feels rushed.

Introducing Centrum Kids Gummies

Gummy Vitamins for School Kids

If you’re looking into Gummy Vitamins for School Kids, one option parents may consider is Centrum Kids Gummies.

These gummies are packed with essential nutrients such as Vitamins A, B6, C, D, E, and Zinc, which help support your child’s everyday wellness needs. These nutrients are known to help support:

  • Immunity

  • Brain function

  • Eye health

What makes it appealing for many parents is that it combines multi-benefits in a yummy gummy that kids may actually enjoy taking. Instead of turning vitamins time into a daily struggle, it becomes something simpler and more kid-friendly.

For school kids who are always on the go, having a supplement option that is easy to take can be a practical addition to their routine—with proper diet and exercise, of course.

How Much to Give

Gummy Vitamins for School Kids: Simple Dosage Guide

When giving gummy vitamins, it’s important to follow the recommended dosage based on age.

For kids aged five to six years old, the recommended intake is one gummy a day.

For kids aged seven to twelve years old, the recommended intake is two gummies a day.

Keeping the dosage simple helps parents stay consistent and helps avoid confusion, especially if you have kids in different age groups at home. Always make sure to read the label prior to use and follow the instructions carefully.

Best Time to Take Gummy Vitamins for School Kids

One of the best things about gummy vitamins is how easy they are to fit into your child’s routine.

A good time to give gummy vitamins is after breakfast, when kids are already settled and getting ready for school. This helps make vitamins part of a regular morning habit.

Some parents also prefer giving them at the same time each day so kids remember them more easily. Consistency is key—whether it’s before heading out the door or during breakfast prep, what matters most is making it part of a routine that works for your family.

Because gummies can taste like a treat, it’s also important to remind kids that these are still vitamins and should only be taken with parental guidance.

FAQs Parents Often Ask

Are gummy vitamins okay for school kids?

Gummy vitamins can be a convenient option for school-age children, especially for those who do not like tablets or syrups. They can help support a child’s routine when used properly.

Why do some parents prefer gummies?

Many parents like gummies because they’re easier to give, more enjoyable for kids, and simpler to include in a daily routine.

Can gummy vitamins replace a healthy diet?

No. Gummy vitamins are meant to help support your child’s nutrient intake, but they should still go together with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and healthy habits.

What if my child likes the taste too much?

Since gummies can feel like candy to kids, they should always be kept out of reach and only given under adult supervision.

Do I still need to read the label?

Yes, always. Reading the label before use helps you check the proper dosage, age recommendations, and other important reminders.

If You’re Considering Centrum Kids Gummies

Gummy Vitamins for School Kids

If you’re thinking of trying Centrum Kids Gummies for your child, it can be a good idea to see if it fits your family’s routine and your child’s needs.

Since every child is different, it’s also best to ask your pediatrician first, especially if you want guidance based on your child’s health history, current condition, or specific nutritional needs. This can help you feel more confident that you’re choosing what’s appropriate for your child.

At the end of the day, many parents simply want a vitamins routine that feels easier, more enjoyable, and more doable every day. For some families, gummy vitamins can be a practical way to make that happen.

Always read the label prior to use.
