3 Pros And Cons Of Hiring A Translation Service

Hiring a translation service for your business is a smart move and can save you time, money, and potential headaches. While hiring a translator can seem like an unnecessary expense, more often than not, you will find that by doing so, you invest your money wisely and you were able to complete transactions that you may not have been able to otherwise. If you are new to working with a translator and unsure of how it can help your company, this article will go through some of the pros and cons of using this type of service to conduct business.

Pros

  1. Translation agencies can help you with more than language.
  2. Managing projects. An agency will have the ability to manage a team of translators who are working on your project. Perhaps your project needs translation services in more than one language. By working with an agency, you can streamline the hiring process as they have access to translators that speak a variety of languages. They can manage the organization of the translators and task them with various aspects of the project. If you were to do this on your own, you would spend a great deal of time trying to explain the project goals to each person which can be time consuming at the very least.
  3. Availability. Hiring a service provides a level of trust and certainty that your project will get done in a timely manner. A service has the ability to get a project done quicker than a freelancer mainly because they can guarantee availability. A freelancer may work but when their schedule permits which means that your project could be the last priority on their list. Whereas when hiring a service, you can rest assured that your project is a priority and will be done in a swift manner.

Cons

  1. Hiring a company could cost more money than hiring a freelance translator. Freelancers can be more competitive with their rates however they are often unreliable because of other priorities that take precedent in their lives over your needs.
  2. By hiring an agency, it is likely that you will work with a variety of individuals and not the same person all the time. If you find that building relationships with those you work with is of utmost importance, you may want to consider hiring a freelance translator instead of an agency. If this does not matter much to you as long as the project is completed in a timely manner, then an agency will work just fine.
  3. Payment. While a freelancer may accept payment after the work is done, many agencies may want a deposit up front. Some may even require full payment up front before the work is completed. This could be problematic if you pay for the work up front to find out that the finished product is not at all what you wanted.

While this article has identified some positives and potential challenges to hiring a translation service, you can only be sure for yourself by doing the proper research as you know your needs and budget better than anyone. Scholastic Warehouse Sale 2017 Book Buffet

I always look forward to book sales, specially Scholastic Warehouse Sale. It’s very near where I live eh. And you know, anything by Scholastic is worth reading. Another exciting about Scholastic Warehouse Sale is their Book Buffet. Imagine, box all you can books for only 799 Pesos! Last December, I got 26 books in a box. This year, I was able to book more!!

Of all the titles I boxed, the most awesome is the almost complete set of The 39 Clues series 1 and Cahills vs Vespers series. There’s only 1 book from each series that was not on the book buffet. Pero madali na lang hanapin yun ano. This is the most awesome because a book is 400+ Pesos. For only 799 Pesos, I got 15 books plus the Agent Handbook. From The 39 Clues books alone, I saved more than 5000 Pesos. Sulit na sulot!

Aside from the books in the book buffet, there are great titles that are also on sale. My third son bought a Geronimo Stiltton Adventure’s Set for 10% off.

Supposedly, I am going to shop while my kids attend the reading workshop, kaso andun din si Morena Mom! Chika to the max na muna syempre while our kids are busy with the reading workshop.

Scholastic Reading Workshop is still ongoing, check the poster below for the schedule:

I am hoping I could go back again before school year starts. Scholastic Warehouse Sale is until June 18, 2017 and is open everyday.

And hopefully makapag book buffet ulit ako!

Stylist In Pocket Review

I am long over due for a shopping spree. Matagal na ako dapat nagpalit ng wardrobe. My husband even gave me budget for that. Pero ang hirap! One time, I went to the mall, armed with my shopping money and I end up feeling sorry for myself. I can’t find the style that suits me huhuhu. I feel so ugly and depressed with how my body looks, specially with how those clothes looked on my body. Nakakaiyak! Ang panget panget ko waaaaaaah. After that event, I never go near any clothes store again. I was so affected with my failed shopping experience. Stylist In Pocket review

And then came SIP or Stylist In Pocket. I have been seeing SIP Facebook ads and I am really curious. Imagine having your own stylist at the comfort of your house? And there is no obligation to buy! I have been thinking of booking SIP when they contacted me and asked for a Stylist In Pocket review on this blog. Perfect timing!

Here are some of the questions on the quiz:

Stylist In Pocket Review

Stylist In Pocket Home Visit

I booked an after lunch styling and the team arrived on time, with iced tea on hand for me! At that moment alone, I know that SIP knows how to take care of their clients. The styling is not just for me but for little girl too. So this is like a mommy/daughter bonding time.

This is my favorite outfit, I think you will be seeing me on this every blog event. It makes my boobs look smaller eh

For me, it’s more of black/ gray/white or light colored clothes. I am aiming for less colored closet eh. I need clothes that are smart casual. Something that I could always wear when I attend blog events. Something that I would wear confidently. Having big boobs is not something that I am proud of.

For Sofi, I want some feminine looking outfit for her. Feminine but not too much. Casual and playful is what I want for her.

Stylist In Pocket ReviewLove this white dress and the terno jumper for Sofi but it’s too white, I have to let it go 🙁

My stylist, AJ, is very patient with me. He explained very well why a dress or a top would look good on me. I really liked most of the clothes that he gave me. And it’s hard to choose just a few! Kung pwede lang di ba. But you know, I just need a few tops, a dress and a pants. We need to stick with the plan!

Stylist In Pocket Review

AJ is super duper nice and if you’re planning to book, ask for him! Will definitely book SIP again when I am down to one size lower! Malapit na yan haha
