Bedtime Behind Stories

One of the reason why I enjoyed Bedtime Stories last Saturday was meeting Nuts/ Nora and Joy.

Nuts / Nora, we have known each other for a time now, although I don’t visit her blog that much, she is one of the few that I consider my big sister in the blogniverse. I was really glad that I finally met her. It’s about time ate 🙂

Joy is my lost sister, er, not biologically, but that’s how I feel about her. We just clicked. I first met her in the Bisolvon event and since then, we have been chatting (if our breastfed babies would allow) in IM. I promised to bring her to any J&J event and good thing last Saturday she was available. Actually, we met at ParentinTV event last May 22, but was really busy then and we have our kids to attend to so we were not able to chitchat. And Saturday, we’re both free (ahaha). gawd. Joy is really my sister (but she’s the ate ha)… we just so alike in so many ways.

Plan Ahead

Traveling to a new and far away place can really be exciting, specially if you are traveling with your love ones. I remember our first time to travel as a family. I was really excited and so are the kids. The first thing I look for when we were planning our travel was the accommodation available on our chosen place. I believe that the place you will stay can make or break your vacation. You would not want to stay in a hotel with dirty bathroom or a place that won’t let you sleep. So if you are to travel in Australia, you have to look first for reviews about Melbourne hotels. The Internet is a good source of reviews on hotels and you can trust that the people who make reviews really experience the place.

The next thing you have to consider when you are planning your travel is to know your itinerary. It sounds ironic though that you are there to enjoy and be spontaneous but if course you also want to maximize your time and visit the tourist attraction of a certain place. Like when you are to visit Rorotonga, look for Rarotonga hotels and other attractions in Rorotonga. You will find that there is so many things you can do in that place and the phrase, so little time, so many places. So for you not to miss out the great attractions on the place you plan to visit, plan ahead.

And our first travel as a family was really fun. It was tiring but we were able to visit the places that is worth visiting. The kids enjoyed it as much as we do. So that’s my advice for first time travelers, read a lot about the place and plan ahead so that you will enjoy the place more.

So we talked about creating a safe sleep environment for our baby and the importance of massage. Some moms even commented on how their kids are now the one giving massage to them (must be because they used to treat their kids with massage). Touch therapy as they call it. And it does not only promotes bonding but also promotes growth. As Joy, commented, a lot of people are saying that her twins are bigger than their age, considering that she and her husband are not on the tall side.

We were served with beef, chicken and chili chicken for lunch and yeah, the cream puff that made my day. And most of all, Johnson’s and Johnson’s gave us a gift pack consist of Johnson’s Bedtime products, lotion, bath and powder. And hearing from other moms how important massage is, I vowed to massage my kids every night, religiously.
