Saving Up On Water

During the holidays, as I have said, my family were all here. Our usual consumption of purified water is 5 gallons for two days but during the holidays, the consumption doubled. If I had MWF filter and the right pitcher, maybe I saved a lot of money. A 5 gallon purified water is worth $0.80 and since everyday we order 5 gallons, for a ten day period, I already spent $8 for drinking water alone. That’s the price I have to pay for having them here. I have no regrets that I invited them all here, but if only I had known about water filter then.

Anyways, it is not too late yet, summer is about to come and you know how hot summer is. Kids will be spending their day on the fridge (just kidding). For sure, our drinking water consumption will increase again.

Finally, I am almost done organizing my closet. I already had my clothes folded. I already told my helper that she should not try folding my clothes as she would just waste her energy. For sure, I will just repeat it. But when I thought I am done with it, the plastic knobs of the dresser went loose. And since hubby does not like carpentry jobs that much, I have to fix it myself. Good thing that I only need to tighten it up.

Hubby is not like ordinary husband who do the carpentry jobs at home. Most of the time I am the one who fix broken things here. Like when we bought a closet for the kids. It is big enough to accommodate their clothes but the part where you can hang clothes are a bit small. What I did, I install another rod below and voila, we have a closet that has two rod for hanging clothes. I will post a pic later of that.

Mommy Moments: New Born Days

Can you guess who is this baby? Is it Kayil? Mico? Chico or Sati? The topic this week for Mommy Moments is NEW BORN DAYS. I can’t remember when was the photo below taken but for sure the baby in there is not a newborn. Maybe 4 or 5 months.

I told you before that my kids are somewhat big during their newborn days. I gave birth to Kayil and he was 7.5 lbs. Mico, Chico and Sati are all the same, 7 lbs. And here they are in their less than a month old moments.

From the top, that’s Kayil. I think he was a month old here already. Then next to him is Mico, I think he was 3 weeks old here. Then Chico, and that, he is as fresh as egg, just some hours after I gave birth to him. The last one, of course, is Sati, and just the same, that’s one of her “fresh from the oven” moment.
