This is the closest I can get for summer outing. Remember our weekend in La Union? It was not a summer outing actually, more like a Valentine’s day family outing (whatever..). That is my mom ( I know I look a lot like her, and my kids and my friend’s youngest kid). We have no summer outing yet since the start of summer.. maybe next weekend. let’s see.. but by that time, it’s late for Mommy Moments..LOL

Ang Sapatos na Ayaw Pasuot

Ito ang paboritong sapatos ng aking pangalawang anak na si Mico. Lagi akong nahihirapan na isuot ito sa kanya at kahit na inaabot kami ng siyam sa siyam sa pagsusuot nito, ito lang ang gusto niyang sapatos.

This is Mico’s favorite shoes. I always had a hard time putting this to him. And even if it would take hours to put this on, he would never wanted any other shoes.

Switching all your unnecessary lights and appliances will make our Earth a better place to live. I believe this campaign does not say, you need to live in darkness and discomfort for one hour. I think when it says unnecessary, those are the electronics we are not using or appliances we can live without for an hour. What are the small things you can do?

Don’t charge your gadgets during this hour

If you can’t turn off your computer, why not turn off its monitor?

If you are afraid of the dark, why not turn off your street lights instead?

You can delay turning on your air con.

You can also try not to open your refrigerator.

If you are cooking with rice cooker, cook early.

These are small and simple things but if we ALL participate, it can make a BIG difference!

So again, ARE YOU SWITCHING OFF?
