Who Wants Lemonade?

My dear friend Sara of The Breathing Post, honored me with the Lemonade Award.. I am really glad that I started blogging, I was able to meet fellow mommies all over the world.. Sara is due this coming April.. I hope she will have n easy delivery.. check her out.. she is one of the nicest mommy blogger that I met..

I am still amazed by the power of blogging and how we were able to meet new friends all over the world.. as you will notice, most of the awards or tagged I receive, I gave it out to bloggers I don’t even knew.. I aim to widen my horizons on the blogosphere that is why..I want to meet new and exciting people from time to time.. although this kind of thing is tiring (you have to check out every blog, get their link and come back to say they are tagged or that they receive an award etc). I enjoy it so much! The last time I did this was with the Birthday Wish Award that Sara gave me.. I was able to share it with 15 bloggers and though not all of it come back, I am glad that I have known more mommy bloggers. I do enjoy reading ( as much as writing detest me) and would love to meet more bloggers, so for this award.. I will pass it again to bloggers that I will be friends with in the near future.

Toy Hunt ( Farm Animal/s Toy)

This week’s toy hunt theme is farm animals.. Be a to y hunter like us!

This post is a bit late.. This should have been posted before I post my other meme.. but since this the FIRST photo meme that I joined, I delayed my posting just in time for the arrival of my gift (which was used to capture these toys). These are the closest farm animal I can get.. My boys does not have a lot of toys.. just cars and cars (and blocks..Mommy’s toys actually). These were included on the fire truck toy I bought for Chico (they just love anything with wheels).and the toy is on sale( Mommy is such a bargain hunter.. and a sucker for sales)!

The Sound Of Music Cast Before and After

I have never seen The Sound of Music, I am only familiar to some of its songs (like the doremi, favorite things). Now I had the chance to watch it and enjoy the songs and the scenery. It is an old movie (1965), and my curious mind, wonders, where are the actors now..

Maria as played by Julia Andrews, oh well she is so IN until now. I have last seen her in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. I last heard her in Enchanted as the narrator..

Christopher Plummer as Captain Von Trapp, he is still alive and if you have watched National Treasure, he played as the grandfather of Nicholas Cage.

The seven kids who played the Von Trapp kids, which by the way 9, let’s see if they are still on the business ( are you not curious how they looked like now?)

Charmian Carr, (who is 21 at the time of the movie, but 16 as Liesl) she is now selling books!

Nicholas Hammond, (Friedrich)looks like he is still in the business. He even played Peter Parker in the 70’s. He is more of a TV guy than in movies.

Heather Menzies who played Louisa, turns out to be a very beautiful lady. She is aging graciously and gorgeously!

Duane Chase (the incorrigible Kurt) is now a software engineer.

Angela Cartwright who played Brigitta is now a photographer and an artist.

Debbie Turner as Martha (who loves pink) is now a florist (but she is not close to Barry the Bee)

Kym Karath who played the cutey Gretl is now resuming her acting career (whatever that means)

Before
