5 Drinks To Help You Pass Kidney Stones NATURALLY (Plain Water Not Included!)

In a span of one year, I experienced how to Pass Kidney Stones Naturally in 4-5 months interval. That’s too much stones in one year! Sometimes I feel like my kidney is a stone garden.. but on the brighter side, I passed all those stones without having to undergo shockwave treatment.

HOW? From my experience, drinking plenty of liquid really helped. I increased my fluid intake and in a few days, the stones passed.

5 drinks that helped me pass kidney stones naturally

Pass Kidney Stones Naturally

1. Lemon Infused Water

Instead of drinking water, drink lemon infused instead. This is very easy to prepare. Wash the lemon thoroughly or soak it in water and salt solution in an hour before using. Slice the lemon and put it in 2 liters of water. That should be your liquid intake for the whole day.

I tried alternating my water intake with lemon infused water March of last year. I did that because I can feel a heaviness on my kidney, suspecting that I have kidney stones again. I also included a glass of cranberry from my diet. After a week, one kidney stone passed.

2. Cranberry Juice

Include a glass of this on your everyday diet. It does not only helps your kidney pass stones naturally. It can also prevent you from experiencing UTI. Read about my kidney stones passing experience last March 2015 (kidney stone photo included!).

3. Calamansi Juice

When I got pregnant last May, I can’t drink plain water. Morning sickness was really bad. The only fluid I can take is calamansi juice with honey. I don’t prepare the juice from scratch. I bought calamansi with honey concentrate from SM Hypermarket. If I am not mistaken, I consumed at least 2 liters of calamansi juice everyday.

I had so much painful experience during the 1st trimester of my pregnancy and never thought of my kidney’s health back then. I was surprised when I passed a soft kidney stone once again. I didn’t got the chance to take a photo of the stones but it was softer than I had last March.

4. Fresh Buko Juice

Another readily available natural remedy for Kidney Stones is fresh buko juice. Last December, I have been drinking buko juice regularly. A few days of drinking it, I can feel that I am about to pass a stone. The stone was bigger this time and difficult to pass. It was actually painful. I had to endure the pain in my urethra for a few nights before the stone passed (which was also painful)

Last is the Cogon Roots Juice:

5. Cogon Roots Juice

Cogon roots can be found at Quiapo or Ongpin (if you’re from the Philippines). It’s a grass that commonly used on nipa hut as roof.

My mother prepared the juice for me. I just took 500 ml of this concoction ast 2013 and after 5 months, I passed some crushed stones. That’s the first time I passed stones naturally. I’m thinking, if I took more than 500 ml of the cogon roots juice, things would have been different.

Are you experiencing some pain on your kidney right now? Try any of the drinks I mentioned and pass those stones naturally! I also recommend checking out Nutrition Inspector, a very helpful health tips and fitness resource for other health tips and home remedies.

Finally New Year Ready! FOCUS Is The Word

For someone with an OCD, FOCUS is a big big big word. It’s one of those words that’s missing on my vocabulary. In fact, right now, as I write this blog post, my mind is thinking other things too. WAIT! I’m not done yet with the reviewers.. oh my! I think I forgot to organize my pens. No, wait, are the books well aligned. I need to post something on FB..my IG! Oh noes! The photos!

STOOOP!

I’m just giving you a glimpse of how my mind works. It’s a struggle that I have to go through everyday.. but I already accepted that crazy side of mine when it comes to small details, such as re aligning everything. My one word, FOCUS, is all about my bigger goals in life.

FOCUS on being grateful everyday. On thanking God for all the blessings, specially the gift of life.

FOCUS on our finances. On panning what to buy, not to buy and how to save for things that really matters.

FOCUS on being a better partner everyday. On making my husband feel how blessed I am to be married to him

FOCUS on teaching my kids the importance of family and instilling them positive family values.

FOCUS on my blog, specially on the contents. Stay on track.

FOCUS on inspiring others, giving nothing but happiness and noticing nothing but their goodness.

my FOCUS soldier.. the symbolical hand over of duties and responsibilities.. from red to green.. from fiery to focus

This is my first time choosing one word to guide me for the year that’s about to unfold. And it took me a few blog hops before I finally decide on doing it. Tina of Truly Rich and Blessed helped me in understanding how the one word works. I wish in years to come, I’d be able to do her one word, one verse, one Saint guide.

My kumareng Badet was the one who gave me my one word. Not actually gave me.. but as I read her one word post, I realized what my word was. She’s choosing between focus and achieve . FOCUS was the first goal oriented word I wrote on my notebook planner. Since I am a strong believer of signs.. so there you go. 2016 will be all about FOCUS.

How about you? Have you tried choosing one word to guide you for a year? Still don’t what to do? Head on to Tina’s blog for her tips on choosing your one word for the year.

Don’t forget to come back here and share with me your one word! Together, let’s inspire others!

Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016!

Probably a lot of you doesn’t know that I am a lola’s girl. It has been my dream to give back or serve my lola kahit sa maliit na paraan lang. Last year, husband made that dream came true. Medyo (medyo pa lang eh since we’re still sorting things out) kasama na sya sa finances namin. Hopefully this year, it’ll be a monthly basis na. Ang saya ko lang pag nangyari yun! If husband’s lola is still living, I’m sure he’ll do the same.

It’s also my dream to spend days with my lola and before the year ends, it came true! I’m one happy lola’s girl!! My lola spent the New Year here in my house!!! At pinagluto pa ako ng napakasarap nyang Adobong Pusit and Pork Estofado.

Obligatory Family Picture for New Year haha

The New Year celebration alone is enough for me to say had the best year ever!

Peroooooo there are sooo many things that happened to us last 2015 that made it #thebestyearever (sa kabila ng mga emosyonal na pangyayari sa buhay namin, 2015 was still a great year for us). These are some of the highlights of the year that was:

Family travels during the first half of 2015..

New baby and a new house for us on the 2nd half!

And for me, new toy + a blog makeover!

That is why during our Media Noche, I made sure to have a basket of 13 fruits. Sabi nila pang pa swerte daw yan but I didn’t put that basket for 2016. It was more like a gratitude basket for the year that was. Sobrang thankful ako for my 2015 and I’m positive 2016 will be another great year for me and my family, and yours too!

Happy 2016!!
