The News That Made My Blog Day

By now, you are all aware if my OCD and my blogging sched (somehow). Tuesday and Thursday is for current events or anything that is not that personal or with a touch of events (yeah like she bloggers and the likes). And so while I was thinking of whether to create another she bloggers update, I checked my mail for a while. I was not surprised to see an update from my Barrio, Barrio Siete, but I was surprised that a new article is not about Cory anymore:

Janette Toral chatted with me sometime this year. She asked for my support for her Influential Blog Awards. Given that up to this point, I am still hyper-critical of that other market-their-business-best friends/volunteers/kiss-ur-ass-and-will-continue-to-watch-them-2009-awards, I decided to support her. Why? I liked the idea of making known the small and upcoming talented bloggers. That’s the least that we can do with all these meaningless blog awards. In fact, she even told me na pag-uwi ko raw, just let her know and she will let me speak in one of her seminars. … (from my inbox)

And since I joined this hullabaloo, I click the link and landed on one of the most controversial article I have seen in Barrio Siete. It made my blogging day as I did not dare open my dashboard and my eyes were glued in this article. I feel like there’s a bomb waiting to explode. There are issues that needs to be resolved. I have to give it to La Kapitana (Inay Reyna for me) for braving the blogosphere and publishing this kind of article. For the Barriotics who were involved in the investigation, thanks for giving this to us.

As I have said, I joined and made an entry for Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs 2009 and considered on launching my very own campaign and influence bloggers to include me on their list. Then again, aside from my tardiness, I don’t think it would be proper to lobby for a vote.

You Are Inspirational- A Site A Day

This week’s theme is a bit harder. The theme is to feature a site that you visits everyday. The only site I visit regularly and religiously and without a miss is Home Buddies. You may wanna know why? because the owner and I chat regularly. And during our chat we would often ask each other to visit our site (ahehe). Since I already featured that site twice, I thought of featuring the “other site” I log on to everyday.

Adgitize is a traffic/earning site. You can earn at least 10 dollar a month by doing the things you love, blog hopping. You can also gain traffic by advertising at their site. As you can see on my sidebar, there are some buttons with a word adgitize. If you are a member of the adgitize community, all you need to do is click (and you will be directed to another site) a hundred of those and you earn 100 points. If you are an advertiser, you easily earn 100 points a day. Posting at least an article a day, earns you another 100 points. Points are then computed based on the overall points of all users and converted to cash. I have heard a lot about this site and according to them, the amount you put in to advertise is less than the amount you will gain while adgitizing (clicking, posting and all).

That’s the reason why I visit the site everyday, because you need to be logged in so that your adgitize click will be counted. Tracking your click is easy. On each buttons, it will appear how many adgitize you already had. When it says adgitize 100, it means you already got 100 points.

I just advertised from them last week (Thursday) and I can see the big difference it made on my traffic. From an alexa ranking of 22M, I am now on the top 3M. So what are you waiting for guys? Click on the image and advertise and watch your traffic soar!!!!
