Mommy Moments- Look At That Mess!

mommy moments

I thought I would not find an entry for this week’s theme, look at that mess! The messiest I have seen so far was posted last week for my Mommy Moments entry ( first of everything.. first time to eat alone). By now, you are all aware that I am suffering from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder.. and not the cute OC OC thingy about girls), and so being obsessed with order and cleanliness, mess is not a common sight here at home. Good thing while I was browsing my pictures folder, saw this pic. This was last Tuesday, after the pictorial I had with my sister and soon to be brother in law. They treated us with ice cream, spaghetti, chicken and a lot more. Supposed to be her “payment” for my effort.. but still, I was the one who cooked the stuffs.. Here are the three oldest of our boys eating ice cream as if there is no tomorrow.

I told them they can eat ice cream o their own granted they eat it outside..can’t stand the drips on the floor….

Precious Than Watch: Seiko

When I say Seiko, you say watch.. get it? uh well.. that was before I met Seiko.. not the watch you silly, but yeah when I hear the word Seiko, the first that comes into my mind is the brand of watches (and/or jewelries). Then I met the real Seiko.. more precious than any watch I have seen. The mommy behind Seiko’s Diary.

It was her name that caught my eye. It was her witty remarks on my entries that made me want to know her more. It was my envy (in a good way) to her five amazingly pretty girls that made me want to be her friend. At first I thought she was a native of Japan. Her name sounds like Japanese to me. I found out she was actually a Filipina married to a Japanese. Since I discovered her blog it has been my wiki (almost) of Japanese culture. She tells it all with much gusto and enthusiasm. She gives her readers the chance to know more about the culture there.

Entries by entries, my interest on her grows bigger. I feel like she is a mature version (I don’t want to use the term older hihi) of me. She is adventurous and have a strong beliefs on life and marriage. I envision myself doing the things she do when I am older. She is a loving mom too and very fun to be with. I give high regards to her (and an ASTIG remarks) on how cool she can be with her daughters . She let them fly on motorcycles. Isn’t that super duper cool??????

Aside form coolness, she is also a loving daughter to her mom. It melts my heart to read her entries about her mom and what more, her mom reads her blog! Now I know where she got her coolness. It’s in the genes. And her relationship with her Mother in law is great too.

Who would not want to be Seiko’s friend? And so when she asked me if we can be kumares, I was more than pleased and honored. It was a great feeling that amidst our geographical differences, our friendship blossoms. It was a very nice feeling knowing a person as sweet and friendly as Seiko. It was such an honor, calling her my kumare.

It would be fun to think that my Sati will be benefiting a lot from her five pretty ladies.. LOL

My OCD Strikes Again

I usually don’t approve a comment right after it hit my dashboard. I wait for a while or for a time when I am awed by its number, It’s when the time that I would take out my notes and list the people who comment on my blogs. It is less tiring for me and works for my OCD best. You see guys, when I list your name and put all your comments, I make it a point to get back at you and answer back or to that effect. It’s my Obsessive compulsive disorder that usually wins. So if somebody commented on an entry with as simple as “nice post”, I am forced to think and get back at them with a comment too about the”nice post”. I could not bear to think that I left out a comment. It would haunt me for days and nights. That’s how my OCD works.

Would you like a tour on the mind of a person suffering from OCD? haha.. you would not want too. It is as busy as a bee making plans, drafts etc.
