Preventing Stretch Marks (And Erasing Them)

As you know I already have kids..and lots of them, so it is not a surprise that I have stretch marks all over me. I was like the walking stretch marks. My tummy has a lot of it. Stretch marks develops when your body surpasses its skin elasticity. The term stretch and mark is very easy to explain. The skin was stretched and leaves a mark. This is commonly related to pregnancy, as pregnant woman (obviously) stretched more than their skin’s elasticity. Stretch can also be present when you lose weight. It may lighten but it never disappear… and we woman does not like that very much.

So are you really on the look out for a good product that can prevent stretch mark during pregnancy? They say applying coconut oil in your tummy can do the trick. I never liked the sticky feeling of coconut oil. My hubby’s niece (who is a med rep) recommended Elovera Cream (by Glenmark). She says that the product is safe to use even though I am preggy. I asked my OB about it and she says yes, I can use the product. I noticed that my tummy looks a bit smoother now, compared to my last three pregnancies. I also apply this cream to face and I have seen a big difference.

What made this cream a miracle cream? Alovera and Vitamin E. As it is with coconut oil (rich in Vitamin E), it has VItamin E. VItamin E is very known to make your skin look good and Alovera moisturizes the skin. It is now wonder that this cream is very good on making me beautiful and (almost) stretch marks free. It may not erase the stretch marks but it really lightens the marks and made it almost invisible.

Elovera can be bought in any Mercury Drug outlet or ask your OB about it.

Are You A Yellow Spammer?

I tied a yellow ribbon in my blogs last week for Cory Aquino.. not for her fast recovery but for whatever that would make her suffering go away..

Then a blogger commented on my post. I did not care about it or even had the chance to read it thoroughly but one thing that made an impact to me, he was kinda opposing this tie a yellow ribbon crusade for whatever reason he has.. and that his comments are long. Unfortunately the entry he commented supposed to be a closed for comment entry (but forgot to change the setting before publishing it) and so the comments on that entry was hidden. Don’t go looking on my blog for that comment, you can’t find it.LOL

As I have said I did not gave a damn but when I went back to the community that started the tie a yellow ribbon, I learned that he has been SPAMMING other bloggers who participated on the said crusade.

DARN and stupid.. I would have given that guy a credit if in a way his comments are not the copy paste type.. and what made it worse is he brag blogged it. And yes it seems he is proud of being a spammer..and being a blog kontrabida as he puts it…

It is not bad to comment or to be against everyone else or to perform a maximum level of me and me against the world drama but please make your every act ORIGINAL!

eh lumabas din ang totoo, nakikisakay sa kasikatan ng tie a yellow ribbon.. e bat di na lang sa leeg nya i tie ang yellow ribbon?

Tomato Love

Don’t you just love tomatoes? This was taken form my mother’s small veggie garden. I like tomatoes but I try not to eat it raw, not for any scientific reason, I just don’t like it raw. Although I love it in my green mango salads and tacos, only if it sliced thinly and very small. I cannot stand the juice or the sound it creates when you bite into its chunky pieces.. cringe.. I do love using it as a base of our dishes. Commonly, as it is in almost every Filipino dishes, tomato is a must. So it is just practical to have some on your garden. Tomato is easy to plant and in just a few weeks, you can harvest your very own (and the sweetest you will ever taste) tomato..ohh.. that is lurve…
