Of course I don’t want to be known as the Blogger with eyesight problem but that’s what I really am. It just dawned to me how poor my eyesight is upon realizing that more than half of my kids (3 out of 5) are wearing eyeglasses. I am hoping my only girl would not suffer the same fate.

My eyesight problem is something that is embedded in my genes. I wished for a skinny pair of genes but what I got is squinty pair of eye genes đ But my eyesight problem was discovered late and it was already worst for my age. If I remember correctly, I was 8 and my eye grade was 300+ already.
And all along back then, I thought my eyesight was normal. It was only through the observation of my teacher that we discovered that I have a poor eyesight. Tsk Tsk
My eyesight problem did not progressed as worst as I imagined when I was younger but it did get worse. Now, aside from myopia (now reads -5.0), I am also suffering from astigmatism.

Prescription eyeglasses can be very expensive with my eye grade. Buti na lang, eyeglasses frames are very cheap in Quiapo.
