Last Mother’s Day I was flooded with so many greetings. And with that, I back off. That is the reason why I was not seen anywhere (fb, blog, chorva, twitter) last Sunday. I never thought how a very special day became so commercialized and that every one where somehow ‘obliged’ to celebrate it.

Last week, I was mumbling to myself how hard it is to be a mother. You have no time for yourself.. you are not allowed to rest. You cook, you do the laundry.. you feed the kids, mop the floor.. but you know, you can actually stop. Get rest and don’t mind them. Mother’s are not born to be a saint. We are human beings, and occasions like Mother’s Day made us feel that we are born to ‘sacrifice’ because of hte blah blah quotes. and though I love to use it, deep inside me, I loath it.

We are moms. BUT we are woman too.. we are individual and for us to be a more effective mothers, we should take care of ourselves first and foremost.

And that’s my message to all the moms out there. It is OK to feel guilty. It is OK to feel mad being a mom. It is OK to sometimes regret being a mom.. BUT it is NOT OK to turn your back to those little beings that you brought into this world. It’s not sacrifice, it’s called RESPONSIBILITY.

Payday Loans

I now a lot of us are experiencing financial difficulties right now. If you are not, I don’t where you are right now. Here, we experience delayed payment on our bills. Life is not that easy the past couple of weeks. Commodities are getting more expensive everyday. I remember last year, a kilo of chicken is only 120 in Philippine Peso. This year, a kilo of chicken is somewhere between 150 to 200 PhP. The price hike of staple products are getting crazy. Now, I wonder what happens to less fortunate people. I know that in the US, people avail of online payday loans to help them with their finances. This is a small and short time kind of loan. An applicant will need to fill out necessary documents before the loan is released. And when payday comes, the loan payment is electronically withdrawn on the borrower’s account.

In most financial institution, they require a check from the borrower before they release the money. But there are some companies which have no credit check loans policy. Now, people who needs to take out a payday loan, won’t have to worry about checks in order to avail a loan. If only there would be a program like this here in our country, it can help a lot of people.

From what I heard though, in poor areas, there is this loan system that they do. The lender will take a hold of the atm cards of the borrower. And the lender will be the one to withdraw the money on payday and will only give what is left after the lender deducted the payment.

The Drama Queen

This is a blog review entry for Yuuki’s TwinBlogversary Contest.

When you say drama, it means heavy or full of emotions. To me, drama is about being sad, lonely and dark. So when I visited Drama Queen (super mag emote), I was not surprised by the theme of the template. It was dark, with some red highlights. So I thought the site was about EMO and the stuffs. Or that the site was all about depressions (which was in contrast with It’s not always about me, a blog who has the same author).

The site is addiction to Asian Drama (the sinister teacher will be delighted to know about this blog). Of course Kdrama is on the list on the blog’s archive (which ius very easy to find by the way). And if you must know, and is on for Korean pop songs, the site features songs, like Nobody and cheer dance from Hana Kimi.
