The Phantom Of The Opera Manila 2019 Review

10 Things You Need To Know Before Watching The Phantom Of The Opera Manila

#1 The Phantom Of The Opera Manila is BREATHTAKING! It’s more than just a musical show. Yes, your ears will explode from all the music that you will hear but prepare your eyes as well! The visual effects is spectacular. There are so many scenes that you will forgot you are watching a theater show. The scenes are very believable that your mind will trick you into thinking you are actually watching a movie. You know there’s a big production challenges between the two.. so hands off to the production team of The Phantom Of The Opera. YOU GUYS ARE REALLY THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!

*it’s ok to sneeze pero if you have cough, jusko wag ka manood please.

*even if you have no idea what Phantom of the Opera is or you haven’t watched since 1998, IT’S OK! Buy a ticket and watch it. You will enjoy more if you have zero expectations. TRUST ME!

#2 Arrive EARLY and leave late. The lines to two of the most iconic wall displays for The Phantom Of The Opera Manila for photo opps is LOOOONG! If you want a photo opportunities for these walls, you need to arrive really early (theatre Foyers open 2 hours before every performance) or leave late. The staff inside the theater are not allowed to take photos but there’s a designated staff from each displays outside that takes photo.

#3 Speaking of photos, CAMERA IS ALLOWED and taking photos as well. It is allowed BEFORE the show, during the interval and AFTER the show. Cameras and mobile cameras are not allowed during the show, even during curtain call. How can you even think of taking photos/ video during curtain call when your hands are busy CLAPPING!

#4 CLAPPING IS A MUST. Where on EARTH did you came from if you won’t even clap? Each performance is clap worthy, I promise you. And during curtain call, when you feel like clapping is not enough and there’s the urge to stand up. STAND UP! even though the people around you are not standing up.. if you feel like their performance is worth standing up, STAND UP. Shout/scream if you must, it worth all your tonsils.

#5  Food is not allowed inside the theater but there’s a place where you can buy around the area. There’s a food court in Solaire so you can grab dinner before watching the show. Please do east so you will have the energy to clap and shout.

#6 And though clapping is a must. SINGING ALONG IS A MUST NOT. Don’t you dare! Baka mag trending kayo. The theater is not a KARAOKE BAR. The people paid 7000 Pesos not to hear your voice. Singing along is a mortal sin. Mapupunta kayo sa impyerno pag nag sing along kayo. DON’T YOU DARE!

#7 Dress code: What to wear when watching The Phantom of the Opera Manila? SMART CASUAL. No jeans please. No pambahay clothes and wear heels please. No bayong bags. Solaire theater is small, don’t piss off other patrons with your bayong bags! Bring small bags please.

MALAMIG BA SA SOLAIRE? Inside the theater, it’s not but sa Solaire mismo, yes malamig sya.

#8 Best Seat to buy? And how much is the ticket to watch The Phantom of the Opera Manila?

I watched from Premium Balcony, 3rd row, center area. That’s a gold ticket worth PHP7,250.00. If your budget is for Price Zone A (PHP5,850.00), get a seat at the center area. I tell you, being in the center gives you the perfect view of the stage. That’s the best place where you can really appreciate the props and the visual effects (which I believe is 50% of what the show is all about). You can check the seat view from Ticketworld website. The best seat for me is premium, first row.

But I am planning to watch again from orchestra and see the difference. Update ko kayo!

#9 Prices of memorabilia. How much are The Phantom of the Opera Manila memorabilia? The Phantom of the Opera Manila shirts are prices at 1500 Pesos. Jacket for 2500, keychains for 600 Pesos, and ball-pen for 1500 Pesos. A must buy is the shirt and the rose (600 Pesos) as well as the tote bag.

#10 The Phantom of the Opera Manila Age Restriction. Performances are recommended for children 5 Years old and above. The show is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The show started exactly at 8 PM, 20 minutes intermission around 9:20. The show resumed at 9:40 and ends 10:30. If your kid can’t sit that long, please don’t bring them as leaving during the show, though allowed, is not acceptable.

What’s the best tower to book in Solaire if you are going to watch The Phantom of the Opera Manila.

Solaire Sky Tower is your best bet. Minimal exposure to casino from entrance. No exposure to casino during check in. No exposure to casino when going inside Fresh (where buffet breakfast is served). No exposure to casino when going to the The Theater. Best part about Sky Tower is nearest access to pool. If you have kids, check the Sky Tower Studio. Ang laki ng room!

The Phantom of the Opera Manila is open until March 31, 2019 at the Theater At Solaire.

Side Effects of Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine

What are the side effects of Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine? According to our pedia, the side effects are just the same with the usual injections.

Japanese Encephalitis vaccine is globally used. In fact, there are 12 countries na ang gumagamit ng JE vaccine.

The rate otr price of JE vaccines differs. Sa pedia namin from my last visit, ang JE vaccine ay 3500 Pesos.

Kailangan ba ng second dose ng JE Vaccine? According to our pedia, yes kailangan ng 2nd dose but the first dose is enough to protect you. When in doubt, always ask your pedia.

And yes this is safe.

5 Things You Need for Crossfit When You First Start Out

CrossFit is a philosophy of training made up of high-intensity, functional motions that keep changing. It teaches people of varied sizes and shapes to enhance their physique, general well-being and cardio fitness in an environment that’s hardcore, yet encouraging and friendly.

The program is scalable and works for all kinds of people worldwide. If you’re new to CrossFit, here are five essentials you need when starting out.

Top 5 CrossFit Essentials for Beginners When Starting Out

1. Supplements

CrossFitSurvival and a good diet go hand in hand. But, you don’t have to come up with good eating habits and a fitness routine overnight. Add red meat in your diet for more fats and iron.

Listen to your body to determine your diet needs. You might need supplements; the intense pressure on your body might lead to nutrient deficits. Opt for healthy fats to fuel and re-energize your body while giving you focus.

2. Add Proteins to Your Diet

Protein provides the building blocks your body needs to repair and recover after intense workouts. Opt for organic protein sources. And, learn to plan your meals, prepare and time them. An all-purpose protein powder can power your mind with the right energy to keep you going.

Take your proteins before and after your workouts. Choose slow- and fast-acting proteins with delicious tastes. Consider mixing chocolate milkshake with peanut butter for a cup of tasty proteins.

3. Sleep to Get Enough Rest

Getting enough rest is as important as your workouts. Go to bed early to get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep each night. After hours of hard work, you need time to rejuvenate and give your muscles time to repair and heal.

4. Hand Care

The kipping pull-ups, liftings, and fast, high-intensity motions can wreck your hands. Even with calluses on, they can easily wear out or get ripped off. Wrecked hands would most likely lead to wrecked workouts. Your PRs can go with your grip. However, the injury can be prevented.

Shave, tape up or grind down your calluses. There’s no shame in doing that. Callus scrapers and pumice stones could be your new friends. Hand salve can also toughen your hands eventually.

5. Mobility

CrossFit is highly mobile. It involves lots of movements. If you aren’t flexible, expect injuries, days when you’ll fall apart, and of course, you’ll be back to your true self.

Your box might overflow with lacrosse balls, foam rollers and resistance bands, but it would take something like yoga to develop the right mobility. So you can drop squats like it’s hot.

Yoga doesn’t have the same intensity and grit as CrossFit, but is what you need to develop the right mobility to do things right. With the flexibility you need to engage in the training, you’ll actually get to fall in love with everything about it. For instance, you need hip flexibility to be able to drop squats without injuring yourself.

With knowledge of these five things, you should be on the right track to starting out on CrossFit.
